new years 08 was spent with: anna dunnisher, katy d. aka sven, and laura. they let the poor kid drink for free all night, i'm in the process of trying to get rich and return the love or atleast manage enough to get these alchy's drunk (and that's not cheap!).

Jumpers is a series that I created in the Spring of 2007. Each Image contains an example of Modernist architecture (specifically, buildings that fall under the category of International Style), a dark figure falling from the sky, and a classic punk rock logo accompanying each figure (The Misfits, Black Flag, The Bad Brains, The Cromags). Layered onto the black and white image is a gritty red texture, this was created by a graphite rubbing of the sidewalk in front of each site.

With each black and white image there is a color photograph to go with it. The color photos are formal compositions of the landing site of each figure. Each image was printed on archival canvas paper and then taken to the studio for the red–orange paint to be applied.
